Jeep Wagoneer Leaf Springs
A Jeep Wagoneer is a great vehicle for showing off to friends, or at car
shows, or even taking a long drive along a coastal highway. However, the
leaf springs in your Jeep can get damaged — whether it's through normal
wear and tear or trying to carry oversize loads. Replacing your Jeep
Wagoneer's leaf springs can give you a smoother ride and help you enjoy
your Jeep for years to come.
About the Jeep Wagoneer
The Jeep Wagoneer was created in 1963 by Willys-Overland Motors and was
considered a "luxury SUV" before sport utility vehicles were a concept. The
original vehicle was a car-like body and cabin on top of a pickup chassis,
complete with four-wheel drive, an automatic transmission and power
steering. It was discontinued in 1991, but not before having the
third-longest production run in automotive history.
There have been talks that Jeep is planning on reviving the Wagoneer and
manufacturing them again today. The head of the Jeep brand said the
Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer models would be introduced again after 2019.
These luxury SUVs would be above the Grand Cherokee and act as an upmarket
version of the original Wagoneer.

Occasionally checking underneath your Jeep Wagoneer, J20 or J10 can help
you notice any corrosion or broken parts. However, there are some tell-tale

it could be time to upgrade your leaf springs. Hearing loud noises when you
drive over bumps or having trouble staying in one lane is another common
issue related to leaf spring failure.
