This Privacy Statement applies to websites (the “Sites”) and the business operations of General Spring of Kansas City, Inc. or one of its affiliates (“General Spring,” “us” or “we”). This Privacy Statement addresses General Spring’s practices regarding information collected from users of the Site and addresses information collected directly through or from the Sites or otherwise during the course of our business operations, including from telephone, facsimile, postal mail, personal delivery, or other or additional offline means or media. General Spring collects, uses, and discloses personal information of its business contacts for business purposes only and consistent with applicable laws. Where General Spring discloses personal information to third parties, it does so for the same business purposes described below and, where appropriate, requires that such parties maintain its confidentiality and maintain appropriate systems and processes to ensure its security and protection.

We collect and use the following categories of personal information about you to manage our business relationship with you:

Registration information: In order to register as a Distributor (as defined in the Terms) and/or to access certain features of the Sites or otherwise do business with us, you may be required to provide additional personal information about you and/or your company such as your name, company name, email address and other relevant personal information in your registration profile in order to obtain registration or to provide goods, or both

To contact you from time to time for customer-related activities, to contact you for market research purposes or to provide you with marketing information we think would be of particular interest.

If you do not wish to provide such information to the Sites, you may be unable to use certain features of the Sites, register with the Sites or obtain certain products from the Sites.

You will have the option of not being contacted by General Spring and opting-out of such contacts by setting the appropriate option in your profile or unsubscribing to such correspondence.

Purchase and order information: contact information, together with purchase details, delivery details, payment details, and any communications we have received about your order or purchase

To validate, confirm, verify, deliver, install, and track your order, including to arrange for shipping, handle recalls, returns and refunds, maintain a record of the purchases you make, to service products you purchased from us, and to provide you offers that may be of interest to you.

Payment information: name, card issuer and card type, credit or debit card number, expiration date, CVV code, billing address, bank account number and other bank account details

To accept payment from you, to check that the right person is using the right card or account, to meet the requirements of the card brands or account issuers, and to make sure we are paid for what you buy.

Typically, we use third-party processors who collect and process payment card information on our behalf.

Information voluntarily provided: information knowingly provided in online forms, text message alerts, registration or membership forms, contest entries, surveys, e-mail, and other online avenues (including, without limitation, demographic and personal profile data such as names, postal and e-mail addresses, and phone numbers

This information may be may be added to General Spring’s databases and used for future calls and mailings regarding Sites updates, new products and services, and upcoming events, for recordkeeping, editorial and feedback purposes, for marketing and promotional purposes, for statistical analysis of users’ behavior, for product development, to improve content, or to customize the content and layout of the Sites.

Communications: communications we have with users, including through requests to contact customer service, sales, or Tech Support, feedback we receive from you, and the e-mail addresses used to communicate with General Spring via e-mail

To handle your requests and to contact you when necessary or requested, including to respond to your comments and questions and provide customer service.

Device information: the home server domain names, date and time of your visit, type of computer, the originating IP address, files downloaded, search engine used, operating system, type of Web browser for users of the Sites, and aggregate and user-specific information regarding which pages a user accesses

Aggregate data on users’ home servers may be used for internal purposes, such as for recordkeeping, editorial and feedback purposes, marketing and promotional purposes, statistical analysis of users’ behavior, product development, content improvement, or to customize the content and layout of the Sites.

Information automatically collected from your browser: when you use the Sites, some data is automatically transferred from your browser to our server, including your browser type, operating system type or mobile device model, viewed webpages, links that are clicked, IP address, mobile device identifier or other unique identifier, sites or apps visited before coming to our Sites, the amount of time you spend viewing or using the Sites, the number of times you return, or other click-stream or site usage data, emails we send that you open, forward, or click through to our Sites

We will use this information in an aggregated non-specific format for analytical and demographic purposes.

We also will use this information to protect the security or integrity of the Sites and our business, such as by protecting against and preventing fraud, unauthorized transactions, and managing risk exposure, including by identifying potential hackers and other unauthorized users.

Legal information: fraud checks or flags raised about your transactions, the payment card you want to use, payment card refusals, suspected crimes, complaints and claims

To protect you, other customers and our business against criminal activities and risks, make sure we understand and can meet our legal obligations to you and others and can defend ourselves.

General Spring may place Internet “cookies” on your hard drive. Internet cookies are small amounts of data that contain a unique identifier that many web sites frequently send to your web browser to be stored on your computer’s hard drive in order to save data about you, such as your name, password, user-name, screen preferences, and the pages of a site you have viewed. When you revisit the Sites, General Spring may recognize you by your Internet cookies and customize your experience accordingly. You may decline Internet cookies by using the appropriate feature of your Web browser software, if available.

General Spring may also use Web bugs to gather, store, and track certain information related to your visit to and activity on the Sites. When a user performs a search within the Sites, General Spring may record information identifying the user or linking the user or to the search performed and recording information related to the search request.

General Spring may use Google Analytics or a similar service to gather, store, and track certain information related to your visit to and activity on the Sites. When a user performs a search within the Sites, General Spring may record information identifying the user or linking the user to the search performed and recording information related to the search request. Without limiting the foregoing, General Spring has the right, but not the obligation, to monitor any and all communications posted to the Sites, including through Distributor features and other general areas of the Sites. Such voluntary information posted by you may be collected and used by Company in accordance with this Privacy Statement.


Except as provided herein, individually identifying personal information provided through the Sites will not be sold or otherwise disclosed to third parties not affiliated with General Spring. Your personal information may be shared between and among the General Spring subsidiaries and affiliates.

Personal information provided through the Sites may be used and disclosed to other entities and/or business partners in the operation of the Sites, including General Spring Distributors, in order to provide the products or services requested and for marketing and promotional purposes. Aggregate data on users’ home servers and individually identifying information, such as names, postal and e-mail addresses and phone numbers, may be provided to third parties such as marketing firms. Identifiable and non-identifiable user information and data may be disclosed or distributed to another party with which General Spring enters or reasonably may enter into a corporate transaction, such as, for example, a merger, consolidation, acquisition, or asset purchase, or to a third party pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other form of legal process, in response to a request by or on behalf of any local, state, federal, or other government agency, department, or body, whether or not pursuant to a subpoena, court order, or other form of legal process, or if determined by General Spring in its sole judgment that such disclosure or distribution is appropriate to protect the life, health, or property of General Spring or any other person or entity.

While General Spring may undertake efforts to see that any third party to which General Spring shares, rents, sells, or otherwise discloses personal information is under a contractual obligation to use the personal information solely for the purposes for which the information was disclosed, such third parties are independent third parties over which General Spring exercises no control. General Spring is not responsible for, and will not be liable for, the conduct, actions, omissions, or information handling or dissemination practices of third parties.


General Spring has implemented physical, electronic and procedural security features that are designed to prevent the unauthorized release of or access to personal information. Despite General Spring’s efforts to protect your personal information, the confidentiality of any communication or material transmitted to or from General Spring via this Sites or via e-mail cannot be and is not guaranteed. You acknowledge that the technical processing and transmission of the Sites content may be transferred unencrypted and involve (a) transmissions over various networks and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of connecting networks or devices. General Spring is not responsible for the privacy practices of such Web sites, advertisers, or third parties or the content of such sites and it is your sole obligation to review and understand the privacy practices and policies of these other web sites. General Spring does not control these third parties’ use of cookies, collection of information, or how they manage such information. It is solely your obligation to review and understand the privacy practices and policies of these other Web sites, advertisers and any third parties.


Except as necessary to obtain the products, services, or information requested, you may opt out of having your personal information, which has been voluntarily provided to General Spring through online forms, membership or registration forms and profiles, contest entries, surveys, e-mail, or other online avenues, prospectively retained by General Spring, used by General Spring for secondary purposes, or disclosed by General Spring to third parties, by contacting General Spring via postal mail, e-mail, or telephone at the addresses set out above. This provision does not apply to the collection of the type of Web browser of the user to the Sites or to information provided or collected that does not meet the description in this Section 6


Under Age 13: We understand the need to protect children's privacy online (we define “children” as minors younger than 13). The Sites are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children without verifiable parental consent. We do not knowingly allow children to register with us, communicate with us, or to use any of our online services. If it comes to our attention that we have unknowingly collected information from a child under the age of 13, we will take all reasonable measures to delete it as soon as possible and will not use such information for any purpose (except where necessary to protect the safety of the child or others as required or allowed by law). Please note that, while we make reasonable efforts to comply with such requests, deletion of your personal information does not ensure complete and comprehensive removal of that data from all systems.


We may use third-party advertising companies that use tracking technologies to serve our advertisements across the Internet. These companies may collect information about your visits to the Sites and other websites and your interaction with our advertising and other communications. Upon your request via postal mail, e-mail, or telephone, General Spring will provide you with a summary of any personal information retained by General Spring that has been voluntarily provided by you to General Spring through online forms, registration forms, contest entries, surveys, e-mail, or another online avenue. General Spring may change this Privacy Statement at any time. Notice of any new or revised Privacy Statement, as well as the location of the new or revised statement, will be posted on the Sites for at least twenty (20) days after the change. It is the obligation of users returning to the Sites to learn of changes to the Privacy Statement since their last visit. Any change to this Privacy Statement shall be effective as to any user who has visited the Sites before the change was made.
